Jaime Hayon is a young designer who was born in Madrid in 1974. He has demonstrated his initiative since the beginnings of his career, showing to be able to go beyond the limits that separate art form design. In 2001 he opened his professional studio: his activity focuses either on objects, furniture and toys design, or on the organization of exhibitions and interior design for public spaces, such as shops and restaurants. His projects at the David Gill Gallery of London, at the Vitra Design Museum and at the Design Museum of London have had a lot of success. Jaime Ayon is considered one of the best emergent designers of the world. He was awarded by Wallpaper, Elle Deco and London Design Festival for some of his works. Among his most important cooperation there are those with Swarovski, Metalarte, Artquitect Edition, BD Barcelona, Piper Heidsieck and Pallucco. Prestigious international design reviews, such as Icon, Der Spiegel and How to spend it (the design review of the Financial Times), have dedicated to him a lot of space, appreciating his projects.
